24-year-old Aidan Oldenburg is competing in the Olympics on the USA men's team. Oldenburg began curling at 10 years old and participated in the Manakato Curling Club's Junior program.
“When I graduated high school, I made the decision to pursue curling competitively and fully, focusing on curling from there on out,” said Oldenburg. “Joe Flennery coached me at the Mankato Curling Club and kickstarted my curling career. He didn’t pressure me. He knew I would be able to handle my own when I started competitive curling.”
