Mini Beginner League
Ready to give curling a try in a fun, casual, learning environment, but without the committment of a full season? Or want to get ready for participation in the regular season? The Mankato Curling Club is pleased to offer an instructional "mini" league designed for curlers with 0-2 years experience. You do not need to be a member of the club to sign up for this league, but current members with limited curling experience are also welcome to sign up. Instructors will be on the ice to answer questions and to give tips on delivery, strategy, rules, etiquette, and more.
For the 2024-2025 season, we are offering the following mini beginner leagues:
- 3-Week League
- Friday nights from 6:30 - 8:30pm
- December 6, December 13, and December 20
- You should take a Learn to Curl Class prior to this league
- If you are unable to take a class prior to December 2, you will need to arrive at 5:30pm on the first night to receive basic instruction on how to curl
- Any combination of male/female curlers
- The cost is $40 / person
SESSION 2 - TBD Likely Feb or March
- 3-Week League
- Friday nights from 6:30 - 8:30pm
- You should take a Learn to Curl Class prior to this league

The "mini" league is not a regular adult league, and does not confer membership to the club or to the USCA.
All equipment is provided by the club. Please remember to bring a clean pair of shoes to change into at the club.
You may register as an individual, a full team of 4, or anywhere in between, but please register everyone in your group at once so we know you are together!
